 The Big Easy Entertainment Masquerade Ball is a major fundraising effort celebrating it's 9th year in support of Utah Arts for opportunity youth who are enrolled in the "Hopscotch Outreach Arts Foundation". The event will feature an extraordinary evening of entertainment, dinner, and dancing. The Ball will feature an elegant four-course dinner, door prizes, raffles, contests along with live music and lots of dancing. The event is a formal/semi-formal affair with mask encouraged.

ABOUT HOPSCOTCH

Hopscotch Outreach Arts Foundation, founded by, Monica DeSilva and heavily supported by the late,
Rowland Butler. Entertainer, teacher & mentor to many. Rowland and Monica worked side by side during their performing arts journey and Rowland was one of the charter members of Ballet West and Utah Ballet. He was also an assistant professor of Ballet and Theater at the University of Utah and resident choreographer at Pioneer Memorial theater for 18 years. Rowland's students, to include Monica DeSilva went on to perform in various performing arts arenas such as on an off Broadway, Cats, A Chorus Line, Les Miserable; in movies such as Footloose and For the Boys. In his retirement, he went on to teach and support various arts foundations and public schools and continued his commitment to the arts by developing and assisting in developing programs for arts education to include, Hopscotch Outreach Arts Foundation. In honor of his legacy, we reach out to the Utah community to encourage continued support of the arts through our fundraising efforts, one being The Big Easy Entertainment New Years Eve Masquerade Ball.

  3. DOORS OPEN FOR DINNER AT 6:30PM FOR THE THE LIVE JAZZ COCKTAIL SET. DINNER STARTS AT 7:30PM. IT IS A BUFFET STYLE DINNER WITH PORK & CHICKEN SELECTIONS, VEGGIES, RICE, SALAD AND A DESSERT BUFFET OF ASSORTED DESSERTS. AFTER FIVE ATTIRE REQUIRED! COCKTAIL DRESS FOR LADIES & SUIT COAT AND DRESS SLACKS FOR MEN.
